Her latest album, Altogether Stranger. (out May 2), is said to capture the disorientation of modern life through haunting melodies and raw, intimate production. The LP covers an unexpected breadth of musical and lyrical terrain — from garage rock nursery rhymes and creation myths to Motorik dance dirges and solitary Omnichord meditations. No doubt this new release will cement Neale as a singular voice – both observer and outsider – finding beauty and absurdity in the everyday.
