The Chinese New Year parade is back in the city centre
The Chinese New Year, also known as the Spring Festival, is the most important festival for Asian communities around the world. And Luxembourg is no exception.
Once again this year, the Confucius Institute at the University of Luxembourg is organising a wonderful parade through the streets of the city centre on Saturday 25 January 2025. Come along to the Place d'Armes at 1pm to discover the activities planned to introduce you to Chinese culture, and follow the grand parade through the streets of the city centre from 3pm.
You'll have the chance to see the famous dragons and lions performing spellbinding dances, a symbol of luck and prosperity for the New Year.
