Le Fréijoersshopping, Késako ?

This Sunday, March 30, don’t miss the traditional Fréijoersshopping💐🛍️.

But what’s that?

This word comes from Luxembourgish and means spring shopping. A must-attend event, it’s the perfect opportunity to discover the new collections from local shops and celebrate the long-awaited arrival of spring.

This day, dedicated to shopping, makes its grand return after the long winter months, and this year, it coincides with another Luxembourgish tradition: Bretzelsonndeg. On this day, celebrated on the 4th Sunday of Lent, women receive a pretzel 🥨 as a token of love. If their feelings are mutual, their beloved will receive an egg for Easter in return. Otherwise… a basket awaits them, empty!

A double dose of festivities and great reasons to browse your favorite shops this Sunday, March 30!
