A Vibrant June in Luxembourg – Music, Festivities, and Unforgettable Moments

Fête nationale Luxembourg

Get ready for a colourful start to summer in Luxembourg!
Between the Fête de la Musique and the National Day 2025, the capital will pulse to the rhythm of concerts, celebrations, and powerful shared emotions.

This year, National Day promises to be more vibrant than ever. From June 21 to 23, 2025, the City of Luxembourg will not only celebrate the country’s national holiday, but also the 25th anniversary of H.R.H. Grand Duke Henri’s reign. It’s set to be a unique edition filled with music, emotion… and unforgettable moments to share.

Saturday, June 21: Let the music begin 🎶
Free concerts will fill the city centre streets, transforming Luxembourg into a giant open-air stage. The perfect way to kick off the festivities — dance on the squares or simply stroll along to the sound of live performances.

Sunday, June 22: Traditions and emotions 🕯️
Sunday is dedicated to symbolic highlights.
The traditional torchlight procession will illuminate the city in a magical atmosphere, followed by the spectacular fireworks display from the Adolphe Bridge — a must-see for both young and old.
That same evening marks the launch of the City Sounds festival at Champ du Glacis, featuring a music line-up designed to move and excite audiences of all kinds.

Monday, June 23: Official honours and grand finale 🎖️
National Day begins with official ceremonies: Te Deum, military parade, and a reception at the Philharmonie.
Then, to round off this long festive weekend, the City of Luxembourg will offer another series of concerts — celebrating the nation in music, joy… and unity.

And before all that… the Fête de la Musique! 🎤
