It's time to crack open the rosé

Spring means the first rays of sunshine. So what better way to start the summer season than by sampling the diverse range of rosé wines on offer? Whether they are light, fruity or tart, or whether they come from the Languedoc region or are more classic and instantly recognisable from the Provence region, rosé wines are often perfect as an aperitif but can also hold their own during a meal or a barbecue.

With something new to offer, the Tavel region, which has shied away for many years (as its colour was considered too dark), has made a rather impressive comeback amongst wine lovers.

With an appearance somewhere between a dark rosé and a light red, it offers a strikingly delicious alternative in the world of rosé. Served chilled, it is pleasantly refreshing at the start of a meal, but can also be left to warm gently in the glass, competing with those fruity red wines.
