The Kayser-Reinert jeweller and watchmaker was founded in 1912 in Esch-sur-Alzette by Jean- Pierre Kayser, a graduate of the Besançon watchmaking school. After making a name for itself in the south of the country, KR moved to 46 Avenue de la Liberté in Luxembourg City in 1958. That same year, the management of the company was taken over by Mr Jean Kayser, son of Jean-Pierre and also a graduate of the Besançon Watchmaking School. First in 1999 and then in 2013, the Kayser-Reinert jewellery and watch store was renovated and remodelled from top to bottom. Since then, customers have been welcomed into a pleasantly modern, luxurious and highly secure setting. The infrastructure has been designed to make customer contact easy and, if necessary, discreet.
